(UPDATE 8/31/2022) We will be replacing purchases from the PFH store with a corrected reprint. Please check out the details here.

In addition, the author of Little Mushroom has offered a statement to readers regarding this incident.

Due to my careless actions during the editing process of the Simplified Chinese print version, portions of the Simplified Chinese print version of Little Mushroom were mixed up with the web version manuscript. I’m very, very sorry for not catching the issue when sending out the manuscript for the English release. There is no intention of censoring the content of the novel. I’ve already sent out the revised manuscript to the publisher as of this post, and thank you very much to the readers who caught the mistakes!!!

We have also confirmed that our text for Golden Terrace is fully uncensored and contains the complete extra chapters.

Hello readers! On the ebook release day of Little Mushroom: Revelations, a number of people alerted us to inconsistencies between the web version and our published text. We’d like to address these concerns and how we will be moving forward with publication here.

First, there were indeed a few lines in our manuscript between chapters 38 and 39 that were mixed up with the censored simplified Chinese version. Based on prior communication, we trusted that we received a fully uncensored manuscript, and we sincerely apologize for the oversight. We have reached out to the license holder regarding this issue.

Unfortunately, it is too late to pull the current print run from production for corrections. An errata will be posted for the affected lines, and subsequent reprints will have them corrected. The ebook edition will be re-uploaded to all platforms ASAP, after which you may re-download the new version.

Update: we previously said that all extras from the web novel and simplified Chinese print are included in our text. However, after further investigation it became apparent that Epilogue - Whispers was translated from the web novel version of the book. We will be updating it to the extended print version for the ebook and future prints. In addition, the chapter will be hosted for free on our website for customers who buy the first print. We apologize for misspeaking.

In light of this incident, we will be reaching out to our licensing partners for Golden Terrace and In the Dark as well, as part of our prevention plan. An update will be posted when we hear back. We ask that readers not contact the authors directly as they are being informed of the situation.

We will also be implementing an additional manuscript check step to prevent such issues in our future publications.

It is never our intention to censor danmei titles, and we will make sure this does not happen again. We put a lot of love and energy into building Peach Flower House and are serious about standing by our mission principles. Thank you to all who have supported our small press. We hope we can prove that your trust in us is not unwarranted.
